LUNA at the ILA – International Aerospace Exhibition

The Space Pavilion at the ILA in Berlin gave the Moon much space, not only in the exhibition but also in the stage programme. LUNA had a prominent place here and was presented by several members of the project team to the specialist audience and the very interested general public. An astronaut suit, a rover and sintered regolith as exhibits symbolised the different aspects of the future use of the hall: astronautical activities, robotic exploration and research and technology development. The astronauts attending also enjoyed using the “moon stand” as a background scenery for numerous interviews and selfie requests.
