Astronaut suits arrived

For a realistic simulation of astronautical activities on the lunar surface, it is important to have astronaut suits that correspond as closely as possible to the real spacesuits that will be used in the future. For analogue scenarios such as those planned for LUNA, Exploration Extravehicular Mobility Unit (xEMU) can now be purchased commercially – but such a purchase can also be an adventure: the two huge boxes were lost on their way from Atlas Devices LLC (company located in the USA) to Cologne, were searched by the freight company and finally found at Cologne-Bonn airport. After a quick check, they were found to be safe and sound: they are now at the European Astronaut Centre and are awaiting for their first mission in LUNA.
